For need-based financial aid, NDP uses FACTS Grant Aid and Assessment. Anyone wanting to be considered for need-based aid needs to submit a financial aid application to Facts between November 1, 2018, and January 2, 2019. Need-based financial aid awards are granted after a thorough review of the family’s completed FACTS application. All aid is awarded on a yearly basis and is continued each subsequent year if the family's financial need is indicated on the FACTS report. Students must be in good standing in all aspects of student life.
Grants and scholarships comprise NDP’s need-based aid and all students who apply for financial assistance through FACTS will be considered for both scholarships and grants. Due to the scholarship cycles, we are unable to list them all on our website. NDP Scholarships are available to entering freshmen and are awarded on the basis of financial need, admission test performance, writing sample (done on her shadow day), and academic records. Limited aid is available to entering sixth graders. Parents must make an application to FACTS each year by early January in order to continue to receive grants or scholarships.
In order to be considered for financial assistance, the following must be submitted to FACTS by January 2, 2019:
- A completed financial aid form sent to FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment. Click here to enroll in FACTS.
- A copy of your most recent tax returns with W-2's attached, also sent to FACTS.
All decisions on financial awards will be mailed to all grade 6 and grade 9 students in February, along with admissions decision letters. FACTS applications received after January deadline will be reviewed only if funds are still available.
