Blazer Summer Sports Camps: Blazer Summer Sports Camps at Notre Dame Prep are designed to provide individual skill instruction and team concepts in a fun-filled, nurturing environment. Directed and staffed by NDP coaches, athletes, and alumnae, attendees will receive quality instruction in sport-specific skills and age-appropriate learning modalities. Camps will be held for field hockey, soccer, tennis, basketball, volleyball, and lacrosse; Cost is $190. Notre Dame Preparatory School Performing Arts Camp: Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Classic Musical, Notre Dame Preparatory School Performing Arts presents the Annie Jr. Theater Intensive Summer Camp 2017 from JULY 24-AUGUST 4. Spend two weeks this summer mounting a production from the ground up! Experience the joy of collaborating with like-minded peers to create a full production in just two weeks. Explore the journey of a work from the page to the stage. This newly designed camp is under the direction of NDP Performing Arts Faculty and Staff. In this intensive two-week program, participants rehearse and perform a musical production under the guidance of experienced musical theater faculty. The camp enables students to explore material from the musical theatre world as they receive the voice, movement and acting training essential for performance. Roles are open to experienced performers as well as those new to the craft. While the emphasis is on performance, students will also receive experience in a wide variety of musical theatre disciplines during the rehearsal process, including vocal instruction, acting a song, movement, building a character, ensemble acting, and more. The camp is open to students grades 5 through 9. The cost of the camp is $600.00. Click here to register.
Summer String Academy is based on the Suzuki and Paul Rolland methods of teaching. Students will be placed in groups according to their performance level, and classes will provide the opportunity for students to polish repertoire, work on technique and reinforce musical skills.
