Welcome to the Notre Dame Preparatory School Archives

ABOUT THE ARCHIVES

The Archives was begun by the NDP librarians who collected, stored and displayed the artifacts that demonstrate the rich history of NDP. Outgrowing the library shelves the Archives Office was opened in 2004 on the first floor of the convent building.  The collection includes computer databases as well as office records and memorabilia:  photographs, graduation dresses and programs, Gym Meet programs and costumes, yearbooks, school newspapers, class rings, scrapbooks and assorted memorabilia. The Office is always open for visiting during school hours and available for research by appointment.

DONATIONS

We are always interested in adding items to the collection. We are glad to copy such items as photographs or programs if an individual is not yet ready to part with her memorabilia.   • Gym Meet Programs prior to 1948; 1950, 1974
  • Commencement programs prior to 1931; 1932-1940; 1942, 1944-1953; 1956-1958; 1960-1965; 1967; 1969; 1972-1979; 1981; 1983; 1985-1989; 1991; 1994; 1999.
  • Ring Day Programs from Classes of  1951-1954; 1956-1967; 1969; 1972-1979; 1986; 1994
  • Graduation Class Photographs prior to 1945; 1956-1995
  • Alumnae Class Reunion group photographs  Classes of  1930 and prior; 1932, 1937, 1939, 1952, 1967
  • Any memorabilia
