Sister Patricia McCarron, SSND, Ph.D., headmistress of Notre Dame Preparatory School has been named to The Daily Record’s “The Circle of Excellence” because of her three-time listing among Maryland’s Top 100 Women. The Circle of Excellence recognizes women leaders who have shown consistent professional, civic and mentoring achievements throughout their careers.
The Daily Record’s annual list of Maryland’s Top 100 Women was created to recognize outstanding achievement by women as demonstrated through professional accomplishment, community leadership and mentoring.
“I am most humbled to be included among Maryland’s Top 100 Women and the Circle of Excellence,” says Sister Patricia. “This award is recognition of the entire Notre Dame Prep community and the culture of excellence that is present at NDP. It is a privilege to lead NDP in its mission of educating young women to transform the world!”
Since 1996, The Daily Record has recognized more than 1,000 high-achieving Maryland women who are making an impact in the state.
Founded in 1873, Notre Dame Preparatory School is a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for 756 girls in grades 6-12. The School Sisters of Notre Dame sponsor and operate the school, which is dedicated to educating young women to transform the world.
