Student Organizations
Three key organizations comprise the student leadership of Notre Dame Prep. Officers in the Athletic Association (AA), Christian Community Awareness Program (CCAP) and Student Council (SC) are elected each spring by the student body and become role models for student leadership. In addition to these officers, a representative from each homeroom is elected to each of the three organizations.
ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION (AA)
Designed to support physical fitness among students, the AA sponsors many events throughout the school year such as intramural sports, the annual fall dance and Tree Trim. AA members take the lead in the time-honored Gym Meet, and the annual Athletic Banquets, held for the fall, winter and spring seasons, pay tribute to all of NDP's athletes, managers, and coaches for their outstanding work during the year.
CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY AWARENESS
PROGRAM (CCAP)
CCAP is an organization dedicated to serving the community. The group sponsors the Red Cross Blood Drive; food donations to the Our Daily Bread soup kitchen; Pasta for the Philippines, to benefit an impoverished school in the Philippines; the Penny Queen fund raiser; the Christmas Dance; and the St. Veronica's Head Start Christmas for urban children-at-risk
STUDENT COUNCIL (SC)
The student government arm of NDP, the Student Council (SC) conducts many programs designed to foster student leadership both in the Middle and Upper Levels. SC provides guides for the school's annual Open House for prospective students. Along with the Athletic Association, SC sponsor Tree Trim. The Mother-Daughter Event and the Spring Dance are other favored events the organization sponsors.
