Planned Giving
Make a Lasting Impact:
The Legacy Circle at Notre Dame Prep
A planned gift is one of the most significant contributions one can make for Notre Dame’s future wellbeing. The Legacy Circle honors those who have made future financial provisions for NDP. Alumnae and friends of the Legacy Circle, those who remember Notre Dame Preparatory School in their estate plans, make a lasting impact to the financial health of the school. They are directly responsible for ensuring a Notre Dame education is available for future generations of young women. Legacy Circle members are prominently listed in our Annual Report and in other appropriate publications. Members of the Legacy Circle are also invited to events on the school’s calendar each year such as the Blue/White Leadership Club Dinner each fall. What is a Legacy Circle Donation?
A Legacy Circle donation is a planned gift to Notre Dame Prep that is placed into Notre Dame Prep’s endowment fund. The funds are invested for reasonable return for current support as well as for long-term growth. The additional income provides support for financial aid and scholarships, building and grounds improvements, and faculty support.
What is a Planned Gift?
A planned gift is one in which assets are turned over to Notre Dame Prep, either permanently or for a time, to which the donor retains some of the rights of ownership. Thus, donors can enjoy the satisfaction of having helped NDP while at the same time providing, for themselves and their spouses, a lifetime income and a number of possible tax advantages. Following are examples of planned gifts.
