    • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer
    • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
    • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
    • Stay home when you are sick; be fever free for 24 hours without the use of medication (i.e. Motrin, Advil, Aleve, Dayquil, etc.) before returning to work or school
    • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash
    • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces (cell phones, water bottles, computer screens, keyboards)
    • If you have not already done so, get a flu shot. The flu is an ongoing concern and currently is even more dangerous than the coronavirus.
    • Do not come to school/work if you do not feel well. 
    Be aware of CDC travel guidelines when planning any travel. Please refer to the CDC website for further information regarding travel restrictions as this site is updated regularly by the CDC.
