Welcome to the NDP Art Department

Celebrating Visual Expression
The Notre Dame Prep Art Department’s goal is to provide the stimulation, encouragement, and instruction to enhance the development of the creative potential of each individual. By offering courses in various media, Notre Dame gives each student the opportunity to have a range of art experiences and to pursue the continued study of art in consecutive years. In addition to the development of visual and applied skills of the studio experience, the student may study art history, architecture, interior design, and digital media. By teaching to all sides of the individual—the intellectual, the spiritual, and the aesthetic—the Notre Dame art student will become a more fully developed thinking person.
