    ACCEPTED MIDDLE LEVEL STUDENT EVENTS

    Enrollment Decision: Please note: All contracts and deposits are due by 4pm on Friday, March 6thOnline enrollment instructions.
     
    1. Log on to the NDP admissions portal at https://notredameprep.myschoolapp.com with the log-in credentials you used during the application period. [If you need assistance logging in, please contact us via email at admissions@notredameprep.com]
    2. Click on your daughter’s name in the top left corner of the page.
    3. Click on the “Decision” tab (next to the “Admissions Progress” tab where you tracked the progress of your daughter’s application).
    4. Click on the blue “Let Us Know Your Decision” button:
    If your daughter will be enrolling at NDP, select “Enrolling” and “Submit Decision.” The option to complete your enrollment contract will appear in the yellow banner at the top of the page. Please have both parents log in to the system with their individual log-in information to sign the contract individually. More specific instructions on how to complete the contract are posted at right.
     
    Not enrolling at Notre Dame Prep?
    We understand that there are many factors that go into this decision. If your daughter has decided not to enroll at NDP, please follow steps 1-4 listed above. When choosing “Let Us Know Your Decision” in step 4, select “Declined” and please select the reason she has decided not to enroll. Please also select the school in which she will enroll for 2020-2021. (This information is only used internally for data purposes).
     
    IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR NEWLY ENROLLED STUDENTS
    Please read the information below and review the attached files carefully, as they address many topics. Note that your mailed admission packet may include some handouts which are not attached below.

    BYOD PROGRAM
    The Middle Level has a required Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program. Please be aware that any student who enrolls for the 2020-2021 school year will need to have her own tech device. Specific information about acceptable devices and a mandatory summer technology camp will follow for all enrolled Middle Level students in an April mailing. Click here for more information.

    “GET ACQUAINTED” PARTY
    New incoming Middle Level students and their parents are requested to attend a “Get Acquainted” Party on May 12, 2020, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. Please mark your calendars! View Invitation here!

    UNIFORMS
    NDP’s uniforms are provided by Flynn and O’Hara. Flynn and O’Hara representatives will be at school at the “Get Acquainted” Party on May 12, 2020 to measure students and take uniform orders from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Uniform measurements and orders can also be taken at their store location (8868 Waltham Woods Road, Parkville, MD 21234) at any time.     NAMETAG
    All NDP students are required to wear a nametag during the school day.

    BUS TRANSPORTATION
    If your daughter is interested in taking bus transportation to school, please visit our website for more information on bus services, including this year’s pricing, routes, etc. NDP currently offers bus services to the following counties: Anne Arundel, Carroll, Harford, and Howard.     Admissions Information for NDP 8th Graders-Class of 2024
    We are thrilled that you will continue your academic journey at Notre Dame Prep! Please consider attending the following Admissions events:
    •  Welcome Reception for Newly Accepted Students on Tuesday, February 25th from 4:30pm-6:30pm.
    Celebrate your matriculation to NDP with food, music, and mingling with current students, faculty, and staff. We will also offer demos and displays in our new Innovation Wing! Snow date: Monday, March 2, 2020. 
     
    Paint with Us! on Sunday, March 1st from 2pm-4pm
    Join us for an afternoon of fun at a step-by-step painting class, hosted by our National Art Honor Society students. All levels of art skills are welcome! Register here.
     
     
    In preparation for the transition to NDP’s Upper Level, please review the information below.
     
    PLACEMENT TESTING:
    Placement testing in math, English, and modern language will take place for all incoming freshmen, including current NDP 8th graders, on Saturday, March 14, 2020.
     
    LAPTOP PROGRAM INFORMATION
    All 9th grade students must participate in one mandatory laptop training orientation (“Laptop Camp”) during the summer. Information flyer.
    Laptop camps will be held on:
    Week 1: June 22nd, 23rd, and 24th from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
    Week 2: June 29th, 30th, and July 1st from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
    • To Do:
      • Sign-up for Laptop Camp will open online on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 9 a.m. Spaces are reserved on a first come, first served basis. The last day to sign up for Laptop Camp is Friday, March 20, 2020.
      • A Laptop and Technology Information Sheet is provided for your review.
      • If you are ordering a laptop through Notre Dame Prep, you must place your order between April 15th and April 30th 2020.
     
    PLACEMENT/PHASING CONFERENCES
    Placement and phasing assignments will be mailed home in early April. Students and parents who wish to discuss individual placement and phasing details are invited to meet with department teachers. Placement/Phasing conferences will take place on Tuesday, April 7th and Wednesday, April 8th. More information and sign up links to follow.
     
    ELECTIVES/UPPER LEVEL ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
    Please read over the attached “Upper Level Academic Requirements” and “Elective Information Sheet” provided. More information about choosing freshman year electives will be sent in a separate email after Placement Testing.
     
    TRANSPORTATION
    Bus information is provided for Howard County, Harford County, Carroll County, and Anne Arundel County buses.
