    Dr. Anirban Basu is a renowned economist and policy consultant with a distinguished career. As the Chairman & CEO of Sage Policy Group, Inc., he provides strategic analytical services to various sectors, including energy, law, healthcare, government, and real estate. His extensive experience includes serving as Chair of the Maryland Economic Development Commission, Chairman of the Baltimore County Economic Advisory Committee, and Chief Economist for several prominent associations.

    Dr. Basu's academic contributions are equally impressive, with teaching roles at Johns Hopkins University and Goucher College. His accolades include being named one of Maryland’s 50 most influential people by The Daily Record and one of the region’s 20 most powerful business leaders by The Baltimore Business Journal.
