A Message from Alumnae Executive Board President

It is with great pride and excitement that I continue my Notre Dame Prep experience as the newest President of the Alumnae Executive Board. As a recipient of the Alumnae Scholarship while attending NDP, it is an honor to give back to the next generation of women.

After graduating from Virginia Tech in 2014, I wasted no time in reconnecting with the NDP community and joined the Alumnae Executive Board. I have seen this group of women come together and better the next generation by actively collaborating to fundraise, support student initiatives, and execute our long-standing traditions and events.

I encourage my fellow alumnae to reconnect and join the Board as we seek to not only grow but also enhance the relationships between our alumnae and the student body. You can learn about our different committee options to see how you can get involved.

My favorite part about being a member has been the friendships I have created by attending our monthly in-person meetings. I love being able to reconnect and work alongside past teachers and women from different classes, getting to know them on a personal level, as well as interviewing and watching our Alumnae Scholarship recipients succeed throughout their time at NDP and beyond.

I invite you to join our meetings and bring your talents and insights; I trust that you, too, will understand what makes being a part of this Board so special. At right, you will find a list of events hosted by the Alumnae Executive Board for the 2022-2023 school year. I hope to see you at one, some, or all of them this year!

Networking & Recruitment Co Chairs
The Networking & Recruiting Committee will help build programs that bring alumnae together through networking events, speaking series, social engagement activities, and more. Members will work with professionals and their networks to assist with the WIN Internship Program, as well as career-focused events at NDP. This group will create and grow our NDP Business Directory. In addition, it will help with recruitment efforts to help develop all advisory committees.

Mission & Community Service Co Chairs
The Mission & Community Service Committee will help increase participation in current alumnae service opportunities and will also network with the school, the SSNDs, and other local community
programs to provide more opportunities to serve the community together as representatives of the greater NDP community. In addition, the group will identify and feature NDP alumnae who are active in social and justice activities.

Alumnae Events Co Chairs
The Alumnae Events Committee will help support the current alumnae events, suggest new initiatives, and measure the success of all events. Members will help promote and market the events to the alumnae community and beyond. This group will assist with planning, recruiting volunteers, and day-of-event implementation.

Alumnae Giving Co Chairs
The Alumnae Giving Committee will be comprised of Class Champion representatives who will help drive reunion giving as well as other initiatives in support of the Fund for Notre Dame Prep, capital campaigns, and stewardship efforts. The members of the committee will assist with peer-to-peer fundraising activities such as Giving Tuesday, texting campaigns, and other strategic giving initiatives.
