Music

Whether a student is seriously pursuing a career in music or wants to expand her enjoyment of music, Notre Dame Prep's Music Department offers many opportunities. Middle Level students may participate in band, orchestra, chorus, or piano lab. In the Upper Level, NDP offers credited music courses in Band, Orchestra, Chorus, Piano, Guitar, and AP Music Theory. Students may also participate in our extracurricular program for private lessons. NDP is also a member of the Tri-M National Music Honor Society, the international honor society recognizing secondary music students for their musical ability, academic excellence, school involvement, and community service.

Private Music Lessons

Notre Dame Prep offers private music lessons during the school year for students currently enrolled in a music course. Lessons are available with instructors in brass, percussion, strings, woodwinds, piano, and voice, and can be scheduled before, during, or after school hours. As an extracurricular offering, private lessons have an associated fee.
