Collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking are central to Notre Dame Preparatory School's academic program. NDP's students challenge themselves and succeed in a rigorous and exciting program of study, led by an experienced, talented, and committed faculty.

Middle Level

NDP’s Middle Level serves adolescent girls who possess both the motivation and the ability to succeed in a rigorous academic curriculum while immersed in the spiritual and extracurricular life of the school.

Developmentally appropriate, the program features engaging and active learning that spans all disciplines. After completing the Middle Level experience, our students are prepared for high school having become more loving, just, and wise.

Upper Level

NDP’s Upper Level college prep curriculum provides both foundational liberal arts classes and subject-specific courses designed to ignite passions. Some highlights of our Upper Level academic programming include:

  • 190+ courses, including 26 Advanced Placement (AP) courses
  • Electives in art, music, writing, economics, social issues, drama, and major subject areas
  • A unique multi-phased approach to learning enabling each student to work at her own level of ability in each subject
  • Our signature academic programs, including our STEAM Program and Bette Ellis O’Conor Humanities Program, allow students to focus on specific interests

Ready to Transform the World

Each year, members our senior class excel academically, achieving high scores on the SAT, ACT, and Advanced Placement (AP) exams. They are inducted into the 14 separate honor societies available at NDP and receive recognition from prestigious programs such as the Archdiocese of Baltimore Distinctive Scholars Program, the College Board's National Recognition Programs, and the National Merit® Scholarship Program. Additionally, 100% of our graduates are admitted to some of the nation’s most competitive four-year colleges and universities while receiving countless merit scholarships and awards.

Beyond academics, they complete dozens of hours of service work through our service program, earn numerous accolades in the visual and performing arts as well as essay and creative writing, and are accepted into Division I, II, and III athletics programs across the country—exemplifying how Notre Dame Prep students are not only well-prepared when they leave here, but also well-rounded.
