Dear Friends –

We began the 2019-20 school year with excitement as we welcomed our students and witnessed breathtaking changes on our campus with the construction of our new Jane Kroh Satterfield Innovation Wing. We gathered together as a community to celebrate a faith-filled Opening Liturgy, the traditional Gateway Ceremony, and the beginning of an exciting new school year. Things certainly have changed in the span of one year. We never imagined that we would end the last school year as we did and begin our new school year socially distanced from one another.

The beginning of the 2020-21 school year will look very different than years past as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and important public health concerns. Despite the uncertainty we face about so many things – the schedule for our students this year, how and when we will be permitted to gather as a community, and how we will celebrate beloved traditions, we know that some things do not change, and that includes our collective commitment to our mission, to our community, and to our faith.

Our theme for the 2020-21 school year is United in Faith. Even when we cannot gather physically as a community, we are united through our faith in our God, in the Gospel message, and in hope, for good things to come, for an exceptional educational experience for our girls, and for a future in which our amazing students, fortified in heart and mind, will be prepared to leave Hampton Lane to take on the challenges of our 21st century.

We are grateful for the many people in our community who invest in our mission and in our students. We are grateful to all those who partner with us to live out our mission in the best of times and now, as we navigate through so much uncertainty and work to meet needs we could not have anticipated. Together, we will give our students the tools they need to thrive and to become loving, just, and wise women who will one day go out to transform our world.
With appreciation,
Kristen Stamile Kinkopf
Executive Director of Institutional Advancement

Ways to Give to Notre Dame Prep

List of 5 frequently asked questions.

  • + The Fund for Notre Dame Prep

The Fund for Notre Dame Prep helps each student, and it is essential to the sustainability of our school. Our needs are diverse, and while The Fund for Notre Dame Prep helps with the daily operation of the school, we rely on major and planned gifts to help us plan and build for the future. Coupled together, The Fund for Notre Dame Prep and major and planned gifts help the school thrive in all aspects and help with fiscal stability over time. Learn more here.
  • + Capital Improvements

Capital improvements to campus through projects such as the building of a brand new, state-of-the-art Innovation Wing and adjustments and repairs to our existing structures remain necessary and critical part of our master plan. Our Innovation Wing adds resources to help prepare our girls for the changing workplace and careers in competitive fields such as Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. The addition of the new building provides a variety of access to much-needed space for our students who are interested in areas such as Humanities. The entire student body will benefit from the opportunities in this innovative new space.
  • + Planned and Major Gifts

To ensure NDP’s long-term ability to grow and thrive, we rely on major and planned gifts. If The Fund for Notre Dame Prep can be compared to an individual’s checking account, major and planned giving can be compared to a savings account or investments. Together, these different kinds of philanthropy come together to provide for the school’s overall financial health.

Planned gifts offer myriad ways for philanthropists to provide for NDP as part of their estate planning. Some gifts are made now and can provide tax and financial benefits to the donor through the transfer of assets like stock or an IRA. Other gifts invest in the future as part of an individual’s overall estate plan. With thoughtful planning, you can make a gift that makes a tremendous difference in the lives of the young women learning and growing at NDP, now and into the future.

  • + Scholarship and Endowment

It is important for us to continue offering opportunities to young women to experience the gift of a Notre Dame Preparatory education. Endowed funds can be established with a minimum gift of $25,000. Such funds allow philanthropists to leave their legacy at NDP by creating a named fund to support a scholarship or other designated purpose in perpetuity. Click here for more information.
  • + Events

Sponsoring an event provides a meaningful way to support the school and to let others know that you care about NDP! Consider sponsoring one of the following events individually or becoming an All-Event Sponsor. Contact us to find out about how becoming an Event Sponsor can be a great value for you or your organization!
