A focus on technical and artistic training builds a strong foundation and love of movement.
Dance happens here!
Notre Dame Preparatory School offers a comprehensive dance program for Middle and Upper Level students exploring ballet, modern, tap, and jazz techniques. A dual emphasis on both the technical and artistic training of the students provides them with not only a solid foundation but also a stimulating and enjoyable artistic encounter.
The Middle Level dance program introduces students to World Dance, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Tap, Ballet, Modern, and Dance for Social Justice.
The Upper Level dance program offers courses for both novice and more advanced dancers and includes several performing opportunities throughout the school year. Participants in the Upper Level program develop technical and performing skills through a series of units in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Composition, Somatic Practices, Dance for Social Justice, and Dance History.
