Friday, September 22, 2023, Anniversary Liturgy: The school community held the Anniversary Liturgy, over which Archbishop William E. Lori presided. Ceremonial SSND-created banners of Mother Theresa and Mother Caroline, as well as a specially created NDP banner, were used. During a gratitude procession, white roses were presented to recognize the present and past members of the various constituents that comprise the NDP school community. Communion mediation featured the world premiere of “Follow the Star,” a choral and string piece based on the writings of Blessed Theresa of Jesus which NDP alumna Leia Sofia Mendez ’19 composed for the Liturgy.

Friday, September 22, 2023: Party with us on Love Field! The entire NDP school community gathered for an evening of fellowship. Food trucks, lawn games, spirit activities, a Silent Disco, and a “Friday Night Under the Lights” varsity soccer game set the tone for an evening of fun. School spirit was palpable as more than 1,000 friends and families came together on a glorious night to celebrate not just a school but an institution that has shaped the lives of thousands of young women for a century and a half

Earlier in the evening, NDP was delighted to host the annual Leadership Reception to express gratitude and celebrate with some of the school's most dedicated supporters.

Sunday, September 24, 2023, 8 a.m.: 26th Annual Blazer Dash Scholarship Run. Tropical Storm Ophelia did not dampen the energy at the 26th Annual Blazer Dash Scholarship Run, held on Sunday, September 24. The event, which supports scholarships, garnered a record number of registrants this year—more than 1,400! In addition, for the first time ever, one class, the Class of 2024, had 100% registration. Tuesday, October 24, 2023, School Sisters of Notre Dame Foundation Day: Students, faculty, and staff came together for the Foundation Day liturgy marking the 190th anniversary of the founding of Notre Dame Preparatory School’s sponsoring religious community, the School Sisters of Notre Dame (SSND). The gathering was especially meaningful for us this year as NDP celebrates its own special milestone: 150 years of educating young women as first envisioned by SSND Foundress, Blessed Theresa of Jesus Gerhardinger. Saturday, November 4, 2023: This year’s Stuff a Bus initiative was a huge success! Thanks to the generosity of the NDP community, not one, but TWO Blazer buses were stuffed with items to support Caroline Center, Mother Mary Lange Catholic School, and Share Baby. This important event, for which alumnae, students, families, and friends of NDP come together, honors the memory of beloved alumna and volunteer Jackie Buedel '73.

Saturday, December 2, 2 p.m.: Visit with Santa
The halls of Notre Dame Prep echoed with joy as alumnae and their families gathered for our magical Visit with Santa event sponsored by our Alumnae Office. This heartwarming event brought the NDP community together for a day filled with festive cheer as children sang along to some holiday classics with our Christmas elves. The highlight, of course, was Santa's special appearance, spreading happiness and granting wishes to the little ones! Each family left with a printed photo with Santa, capturing the special moments and creating a cherished keepsake for years to come.

Friday-Sunday, January 26-28, 2024: Alumnae New York City Trip
Just as they did their senior year at NDP, nearly 80 alumnae boarded coach buses and headed off to spend a wonderful weekend in the Big Apple! After spending their day exploring the city, the alums met up for a fun evening reception at the Cosmopolitan Club. The New York City Trip has been an NDP tradition since 1966!
