The Class of 2021—181 members strong—graduated yesterday at Notre Dame Preparatory School! Threatening storms could not dampen the spirit of this wonderfully resilient class and their families as we celebrated their accomplishments.
At last week’s Senior Awards Ceremony, NDP welcomed Christine Szala, current Head of the Institute of Notre Dame and soon-to-be NDP Principal for 2021-22, for a special presentation: she helped the school celebrate three students who transferred in their senior year to NDP from IND. It was a very special honor to have three new members of the Class of 2021 spend their last year of high school at the Prep.
At this year’s Architecture, Construction, Engineering (ACE) Baltimore Virtual Celebration, Notre Dame Prep’s ACE Team received the Overall Engineering Award. Jess Seymour ’21 was also recognized with the ACE Baltimore 2021 scholarship in the amount of $2,500. Congratulations to NDP’s ACE Team—Clarisse Dapul, Jess Seymour, and Summer Nelson—who presented the team’s final Measuring Up Mobile Tiny House design to a panel of guest judges for critique.
On Friday, April 30, the NDP community inducted new members into its Athletic Hall of Fame and Foundress Society, as well as bestowed six special “Hampton Awards.” In addition, the Mother Caroline Friess Alumna of the Year Award was presented. To read full bios of all of the inductees, click here.
Congratulations to Notre Dame Preparatory School's Archdiocesan Distinctive Scholars from the Class of 2021: Joanna Jeyachandran, Megan Santamore, and Grace Thrush!
These young women have been honored among students at the Archdiocese's 19 Catholic high schools for their accomplishments. The program also demonstrates the unity and common mission of the pursuit of academic excellence within the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
