A Message from the Alumnae Board President

Dear Sisters in Blue and White,

I am deeply honored to introduce myself as Notre Dame Preparatory School’s Alumnae Board President for 2024–2025. My name is Lindsey Shannon Windsor ’08, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve our alma mater in this capacity.

Following graduation from NDP in 2008, I attended The Pennsylvania State University for my undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Finally, I continued my education to obtain a Master’s Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to become a Speech and Language Pathologist. After living in Philadelphia for a few years, my growing family decided to return home to our roots in Baltimore.

I have witnessed firsthand the impact of our alumnae network and the invaluable contributions we as a group make to the continued success of our school. Having a daughter of my own, I hope that one day she will have the experiences that I was given during my time at NDP.

My role is to serve as your liaison to the school, helping you maintain your connection to NDP by adding to the school’s efforts to keep you apprised of important events and information about our beloved NDP and about the amazing things happening on Hampton Lane. Soon the school year will start, and the halls will be abuzz with the excitement, hope, and anticipation held by students, just like they were when we all were in saddles. Returning to NDP as the Alumnae Board President has taken me back to my days as a student, reminding me how special NDP is in my life and how many wonderful opportunities it created for me. I hope you’ll make time to return either for a visit or to become involved in an activity or event like those included in this newsletter. We share a special sisterhood with each other and with those students who one day will join our ranks as NDP alumnae. What a gift it is to support them in their NDP journey and to make their time on Hampton Lane as special as ours was. Together, we can build upon our shared traditions while embracing new opportunities for growth. I have no doubt that NDP’s future is bright. Let’s stick together in support of our school so that NDP remains the place we know and love for far longer than the 150 years we just celebrated!

Thank you for entrusting me with the responsibility of leading the Alumnae Board. I am excited about the journey ahead and look forward to serving you and our alma mater with passion and dedication.

Warm regards,

Lindsey Shannon Windsor ’08
