Gateway Ceremony Details for September 3, 2025
The school year at Notre Dame Prep is filled with many meaningful traditions, and we are always excited to kick things off with one of our most cherished: The Gateway Ceremony.
This event is a special way to celebrate the start of the school year and to welcome students as they officially begin their NDP journey. All new NDP students will walk through the iconic Gateway into the school, symbolizing the beginning of their time at NDP. At commencement, graduates exit through this same Gateway, bringing their NDP journey full circle.
This year's Gateway Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, beginning promptly at 8:45 a.m. We invite you to review some important details below to help make this day a special and memorable one.

Ceremony Details:
- The Gateway Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, promptly at 8:45 a.m.
- New parents/guardians are also invited to attend the New Parent Welcome Coffee sponsored by the Parents’ Association prior to the event at 8:00 a.m.
- Students should arrive at school at the normal time (prior to 7:55 a.m.).
- Students must be dressed in their regular school uniform.
- The entire ceremony will take place outdoors.
- Parents/guests should park in the East parking lot near the convent. Due to the limited number of parking spaces, it is asked that family members/guests arrive in one car.
- Because students will attend our Opening Liturgy immediately following the ceremony, Galeone Photographers will be photographing the event. Information will be shared about how families can obtain professional photos from the event.
- A recording of the entire ceremony will be posted to NDP's Facebook page later that day. You do not need a Facebook account to access our public Facebook page.
- Should the event be postponed due to inclement weather, an announcement will be made by 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The rain date is Wednesday, September 10, at 8:45 a.m.
