Class of 2027 Celebrates Milestone Junior Ring Day

The Class of 2027 celebrated a cherished Notre Dame Preparatory School tradition on Friday, November 7, with their Junior Ring Day—a milestone event marking their ascent as upperclasswomen on campus. The day was filled with reverence, excitement, and celebration, beginning with the Junior Ring Liturgy and Ceremony and culminating in the festive Ring Dance.

The morning began with a beautiful liturgy celebrated by Fr. Brendan Fitzgerald, who offered blessings for both the students and their rings. Following the liturgy, the juniors participated in the formal Ring Ceremony as Dr. Angela Allen, Head of School, presented each student with the iconic Onyx and Gold ring—a powerful symbol of sisterhood that connects NDP alumnae across generations. During the ceremony, attendees also heard inspiring remarks from Class President Abigail K. '27.

Immediately following the ceremony, the newly-ringed juniors streamed to the school's Gateway, a traditional gathering spot, to officially turn their rings. The atmosphere was joyful as students captured photos with proud family members and peers, celebrating this exciting new chapter in their lives.

The celebration concluded later that evening with the much-anticipated Ring Dance. Under their class theme of "Stand By Me," the juniors enjoyed a night to remember. It was a perfect evening filled with friendship, laughter, and the creation of memories that are sure to last a lifetime. Congratulations to the Class of 2027 on this special milestone!
