NDP Theatre’s Production of 'Crazy for You' Dazzles Audiences

Notre Dame Prep's Auditorium was filled with music, laughter, and spectacular dancing this past weekend as NDP Theatre presented its Upper Level Fall Musical production of Crazy for You from November 14–16. The production, which ran for three shows only, was a stunning showcase of the school's performing arts talent with incredible dance numbers and the powerful sound of a live orchestra, featuring NDP's own talented student and faculty musicians.

The high-energy romantic comedy, featuring classic melodies from George and Ira Gershwin, follows Bobby Child (Teagle W., Baltimore School for the Arts), a young New York banker with a dream of being on stage, who is sent to Deadrock, Nevada, to foreclose on a rundown theater. There, he falls for the owner's daughter, Polly Baker (Maggie R. '27) and—through a hilarious case of mistaken identity—vows to win her heart and save the theater.

The school community expressed immense pride in the entire cast and crew for putting on such an amazing production. From the actors' performances on stage to the technical crew managing every cue, their collective hard work dazzled audiences and affirmed the strength of the arts at Notre Dame Prep.
