NDP Swimming Caps Undefeated Season with Historic Third-Consecutive IAAM A Conference Title
Notre Dame Prep Swimming has officially solidified its dynasty. Following a flawless, undefeated regular season, the Blazers captured the 2026 IAAM A Conference Swimming Championship on February 1 at Loyola University Maryland. The victory marks a historic milestone for the program—a third consecutive year claiming both the IAAM Championship and the National Catholic Championship titles.
The Blazers’ dominant performance was fueled by aggressive individual efforts across the board, with several swimmers securing crucial points and medals in their respective events. Shannon C. '27 led the charge with a double-gold performance, taking first place in both the 50m Freestyle and 100m Butterfly. Krysta B. '26 also stood atop the podium, securing a gold medal in the 100m Breaststroke, alongside a silver in the 100m Freestyle.
Other key medalists who contributed to the team's commanding victory included:
Betsy M. '26: Silver, 500m Freestyle
Ella N. '28: Bronze, 50m Freestyle
Lynn E. '28: Bronze, 200m Freestyle
The program's sustained success—a remarkable double three-peat—is a testament to the relentless dedication of the athletes and the strategic guidance of the coaching staff throughout a perfect 2025–2026 campaign.
