Cyber Club Participates in First Round of CyberPatriot National Youth Cyber Defense Competition
Last week, members of Notre Dame Prep's Cyber Club put their digital defense skills to the test as they competed in the first round of CyberPatriot, the nation's largest youth cybersecurity competition.
Created by the Air & Space Forces Association, the CyberPatriot National Youth Cyber Education Program challenges high school teams to secure virtual computer systems. During the competition, NDP students were tasked with finding and fixing cybersecurity vulnerabilities across Windows, Linux, and Cisco systems, all while working to maintain critical services.
This event was the first of three challenging qualifying rounds scheduled for October, November, and December. The team's cumulative performance in these rounds will determine if they earn a spot at the highly competitive national finals. Congratulations to our Cyber Club members on a strong start, and good luck in the next round of competition!
