Notre Dame Preparatory School is proud to celebrate a group of Upper Level students who recently completed the ACE Mentor Program of Baltimore, an esteemed initiative that introduces high school students to careers in Architecture, Construction, and Engineering through immersive, hands-on learning and professional mentorship.
Throughout the program, students were placed into collaborative teams and paired with industry professionals who guided them through the process of designing and planning a real-world construction project. From initial concept and budgeting to design development and final presentation, students engaged in every phase of the project, gaining invaluable insight into the fields of design and engineering.
The program culminated in a formal presentation before a panel of mentors and community members on Tuesday, May 6. Notre Dame Prep is thrilled to share that our student team was recognized with the award for Best Interior Design, a testament to their creativity, hard work, and collaborative spirit.
In addition, Lauren S. ’25 received one of the program’s highest honors—the $5,000 Visionary Scholar Award—one of only five scholarships awarded among the entire ACE Baltimore cohort. This prestigious recognition highlights Lauren’s outstanding leadership, innovation, and dedication.
Congratulations to Lauren and all our participating students for their remarkable achievements in this rigorous and inspiring program. We are incredibly proud of your accomplishments and look forward to seeing how you continue to build on this foundation of excellence.
