Lydia Itzoe ’26 Receives First Team All-State Honors for Soccer

Notre Dame Preparatory School varsity soccer goalkeeper Lydia Itzoe ’26 has received First Team All-State honors from the Maryland Association of Coaches of Soccer (MACS) for the 2025 season.

This prestigious recognition marks a continued ascent for the senior standout, who received Second Team All-State honors as a junior in 2024. Itzoe is one of the premier goalkeepers in Maryland, a status further solidified by her recent commitment to play NCAA Division I soccer at Middle Tennessee State University.

Itzoe was a defensive anchor for the Blazers throughout the fall campaign, recording multiple clean sheets in key IAAM A Conference matchups. Her shot-stopping ability was instrumental in several tight victories, including shutout wins over conference rivals Archbishop Spalding, Mercy, and Maryvale.

The MACS All-State honorees will be formally recognized at the association’s annual banquet on January 26, 2026.
