Middle Level Theatre Brings the Savanna to Life with The Lion King JR.

On February 6 and 7, Notre Dame Prep Theatre transported audiences to the African savanna with an unforgettable, two-night Middle Level production of Disney’s The Lion King JR. Culminating weeks of dedicated rehearsal where the girls worked tirelessly on their roar, the cast and crew delivered a wildly successful show that had the audience laughing, crying, and singing along. Our middle schoolers expertly navigated the inspiring, coming-of-age tale of Simba, Rafiki, and the iconic journey from Pride Rock to the jungle.

The production featured spirited performances of the classic songs that have captivated global audiences, with the students breathing new life into Broadway favorites like "I Just Can’t Wait to Be King," "He Lives in You," and "Hakuna Matata." Our Middle Level students should be incredibly proud of the theatrical magic they created on stage. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew on an outstanding weekend of theatre!
