An Introductory Message from Angela Allen, Ed.D.

Dear Notre Dame Preparatory School Community,  

With great excitement and anticipation, I am honored to step into the role of Head of School and join the cherished NDP community, a place deeply rooted in the transformative power of Catholic education and the enduring legacy of the School Sisters of Notre Dame. As the first lay leader in the school’s history, I approach this role with profound respect for the traditions, mission, and faith that have shaped NDP for generations.  

Throughout the search process, I was deeply moved by the warm, welcoming spirit that defines this extraordinary community. From the moment I stepped on campus, I felt the strong sense of mission and the deep commitment to forming young women of wisdom, integrity, and compassion. It was clear to me that NDP is more than a school; it is a community that nurtures each student’s gifts and calls her to something greater. 

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Search Committee, the Board of Trustees, and the entire NDP community for your thoughtful approach and dedication throughout this process. Your love for the school and your commitment to its future were evident at every step, and I am honored to partner with you in leading NDP into its next chapter. 

I also extend my deepest appreciation to Sister Patricia McCarron for her years of dedicated service and leadership. Her unwavering commitment to NDP has strengthened its mission and enriched the lives of so many. It is with humility and enthusiasm that I follow in her footsteps, eager to listen, learn, and collaborate with each of you—students, faculty, parents, alumnae, and friends—to continue the work of shaping bright futures.

My family and I—my husband, Scott, our daughter, Emory, and our sweet dog, Lottie—are excited to be joining this wonderful community. I look forward to meeting you all in the weeks and months ahead and embarking on this journey together. May God’s grace continue to guide and bless Notre Dame Preparatory School, and may we continue to inspire one another to learn, lead, and serve.
