NDP Habitat Club Supports Susquehanna ReStore

Putting their commitment to service into practice, members of the Notre Dame Prep Habitat for Humanity Club spent this past Saturday volunteering with Susquehanna Habitat for Humanity. The students visited the organization’s ReStore distribution center and shop, where they were tasked with sorting and organizing the influx of community donations. The ReStore plays a critical role in Habitat’s mission; rather than just a thrift shop, it is a funding engine where all profits are reinvested directly into affordable housing initiatives.

Saturday’s visit marked a successful expansion of NDP's partnership with Susquehanna Habitat. By organizing the inventory, students helped ensure that the shop runs efficiently, ultimately maximizing the funds available to build safe, decent, and affordable housing for local families. It was a wonderful day of giving back and witnessing the cycle of stewardship in action.
