The Christmas spirit was in full swing Saturday night as Friends in Faith hosted their holiday gathering. Friends in Faith is a monthly program that brings students together with adults with disabilities for an evening of companionship and fun. Rotating between NDP and Loyola Blakefield, these Saturday nights provide a welcoming space for guests to enjoy food, crafts, games, and faith sharing.
This weekend’s event was particularly festive. Attendees celebrated the season by acting out the Nativity Story and decorating a festive tree together. In a touching display of service within service, the group also assembled stockings for individuals experiencing homelessness, extending their joy to the wider community. It was a night filled with music, prayer, and the true spirit of the season.
