Students Explore England on Summer Enrichment Trip

From the bustling streets of London to the historic charm of Bath and Stratford-upon-Avon, a group of Notre Dame Prep students embarked on an unforgettable journey across England from June 16–23. Sponsored by our Library, English, and Social Studies Departments, the summer enrichment trip offered students the chance to immerse themselves in British culture, literature, and history—bringing classroom lessons to life in remarkable ways.

Accompanied by faculty and staff from the sponsoring departments, the group toured iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the Globe Theatre, and Covent Garden, where shopping proved to be a favorite pastime. In Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, students walked in the footsteps of the Bard and experienced the setting of many literary classics they’ve studied in class.

Whether marveling at the architecture of Westminster Abbey or enjoying the scenic views of Bath’s Roman baths and countryside, students embraced each day as a new adventure. The weeklong trip was filled with exciting lessons, deepened friendships, broadened worldviews, and memories that will last a lifetime.
