List of 6 items.

  • What is a Gift-Gathering Party?

It is simply a party to get together with fellow NDP parents while supporting the Class Basket Challenge, which helps us build fantastic class baskets for the Gala's Silent Auction. Join us for a great time with the NDP community and meet new friends!
  • What is the Class Basket Challenge and how does this event support it?

The Class Basket Challenge is a friendly competition designed to create themed packages for the Gala’s Silent Auction while building school spirit. Starting January 8, parents will receive links to view curated wish lists for their daughter’s grade via the weekly Thursday Class Emails and each class's private Facebook group. Families participate by donating specific items, gift cards, or cash, which the auction committee combines into elaborate baskets and getaway packages. This collective effort ensures the Silent Auction has a wide array of high-quality items for bidding, which will be available to everyone in March, regardless of whether they attend the Gala in person.

Your donation directly supports this challenge by counting toward your class’s participation rate. The Middle Level and Upper Level classes with the highest percentage of participation will each be awarded a dress-down day with sneakers and a surprise treat in February. By contributing to the wish list, you not only help the school fundraise but also help your daughter’s class secure the top spot for a fun reward.
  • Do I need to register for the party?

Yes. Although the event is complimentary with a donation to your daughter's class for the Class Basket Challenge, we still require registration to provide an accurate headcount for our food and beverage partners. Please register via the form at the bottom of this page.

    PLEASE NOTE:
We kindly ask that you register by Friday, January 23, so we can update our event partners for food and beverages, but we welcome registrations up until the day of the event.
  • Where should we park for the event?

Parking will be available in the adjacent Auxiliary Parking Lot.
  • How can I donate to the Class Basket Challenge if I am not able to attend the party? Where do I find the signup for my daughter's class?

Families can donate online or drop off donations at NDP. Your class signup will include all the details—the signup link will be sent to families via our weekly Thursday Class Emails and will also be available on each class's private Facebook group. The Class Basket Challenge ends on February 2 (by midnight).
  • Where can I find more information about the Gala and the Class Basket Challenge?

Please visit the Gala’s event website to learn more. If you have any additional questions, please contact Colleen Driscoll, Director of Advancement Events.
