Celebrating our Senior Class of 2021 and key milestones, despite navigating the challenges presented by the pandemic, continues to be a priority for Notre Dame Prep. Realizing that senior year is all about making final memories, Notre Dame Prep administrators, in collaboration with parents, have found special ways to safely bring the seniors together, whether in person or remotely.
Beginning with a Community Dayin late October, Seniors were invited to don their class colors of Sunshine and Sky and spend a lovely, sunny afternoon together on Love Field. Shortly thereafter, the girls learned the center courtyard would become their very own space to gather for the coming school year; walking by, you can see the special blue and yellow “CLASS OF 2021” banner taking place of pride.
Notre Dame Prep parents delivered to students’ doorsteps commemorative Senior Class T-shirts designed in class colors, accompanied by a box of paper dolls showing off graduation dress options. Each month the girls don their T-shirts for special Senior Spirit Days. To help them celebrate the holidays, the girls received a specially designed commemorative Class of 2021 Christmas ornaments.
The number “21” is popping up all over, as life-size numbers celebrating the year “2021” were recently erected in front of the school, and a seniors-only “social media takeover” took place on January 21st (which happened to also be the 21st day of the 21st year of the 21st century!) with plans to mark the 21st of each month, leading up to graduation day. As we move through the second semester, the NDP community looks forward to furthering special activities to celebrate the Class of 2021 and their educational journey!
