NDP Community Celebrates the Retirement of Two Beloved Faculty Members

On a sunny afternoon filled with plenty of laughter, gratitude, and Old Bay seasoning, the NDP community gathered for a special crab feast to honor the retirements of two cherished members of our faculty—Bernadette Streett and Mary Margaret McClurg.

Mrs. McClurg, who has spent 33 years teaching religion and music in Notre Dame Prep's Middle Level, has touched the lives of generations of students through her passion and dedication. Mrs. Streett, with 40 years of service in Catholic education—including the last five as NDP’s Middle Level Counselor—has been a compassionate and steady presence for students and families alike.

Colleagues and friends came together on Friday, May 30, to celebrate the incredible legacy these two educators leave behind. The event, made extra special thanks to delicious crabs provided by Conrad’s, offered a chance for the community to reflect, share stories, and express deep appreciation for all that Bernadette and Mary Margaret have contributed to NDP. We are forever grateful for their years of service and wish them both a joyful, well-deserved retirement.
