A Guide to the PrepNet Calendar
Staying connected to life at Notre Dame Preparatory School is easier than ever. In PrepNet, you have a complete, always-current view of what's happening on campus — from your daughter's own assignments and games to schoolwide events and liturgies. This short guide walks you through everything you need to get the most out of it.
Getting There
After logging in to PrepNet, select the Calendar tab from the top navigation bar. Your calendar opens in Month view by default, with a sidebar on the left for choosing exactly what you’d like to see.
Two Sets of Calendars
The left sidebar holds two sets of calendars — knowing the difference is the key to using it well.
My Calendars — Her world
Tied to your daughter: Her Assignments, Schedule, Games/Practices, Class Events, and Group Events — based on her own classes, teams, and clubs. No two families see quite the same thing here.
School Calendars — Our community’s world
The same for everyone: The School Calendar (academics, admissions, arts, faith & mission, holidays, Middle Level and Upper Level happenings) and School Athletics (games and practices across all Blazer teams).
Choosing What You See
• Check or uncheck any box to show or hide that calendar.
• Click the arrow ( › ) beside a calendar to expand it into categories.
• Use Show All or Hide All to toggle a whole section at once.
Shortcut: Filter by your daughter’s level
Many events are tagged with more than one category — for example Academics + Upper Level. Selecting just Middle Level or Upper Level surfaces most events for her division. A few all-school items (like liturgies and holidays) aren’t level-tagged, so leave all filters on if you’d rather not miss anything.
Save Your View
Set the calendar to show exactly what you want, then select Save at the top of the My View box. It reopens that way every time — no re-checking boxes. Restore returns to the default view.
Switching How It Looks
• Month · Week · Day — see the big picture or zoom in on a single day.
• Today — jump back to the current date.
• List — a simple chronological list; often easiest on a phone.
• The printer icon creates a clean, printable version.
Add the Calendar to Your Phone
Subscribe once and NDP events flow automatically into the calendar app you already use — Apple, Google, or Outlook. New events appear on their own. First, filter your sidebar to what you want — your subscription mirrors your current view. Then, in the calendar toolbar, select the feed icon and copy the WebCal/iCal link.
On iPhone or iPad
1. Open Settings › Calendar › Accounts.
2. Choose Add Account › Other › Add Subscribed Calendar.
3. Paste the link, tap Next, then Save.
On Android (Google Calendar)
1. On a computer, open Google Calendar.
2. Beside Other calendars, select + › From URL.
3. Paste the link and select Add calendar — it syncs to your phone.
Good to know: Menu wording varies slightly by device, and subscribed calendars refresh periodically, so brand-new events may take a little while to appear.
