Model UN Travels to Hershey for Conference
More than 30 students represented Notre Dame Prep in a Model UN Conference sponsored by the Greater Philadelphia YMCA Civic Engagement organization in Hershey, PA, between January 10–12. Our students joined approximately 1,700 other high school students to debate, discuss, and find solutions to some of the world's most pressing problems.
Throughout the weekend, our students worked on issues ranging from maternal health to genocide while representing the ideals and politics of their assigned nation. They experienced first-hand the intricacies of international relations and came home more engaged and aware of the challenges our world faces. We are so proud of their commitment to making the world a better place and know that the future is bright with these amazing ladies leading the way!
